Why I coach: My philosophy of coaching centers on teaching life lessons through the sport of volleyball. It’s my job to not only develop my athletes as skilled volleyball players but also to help them become empowered young women.  The mental aspect of the game is the most critical. Coaching in a small school requires me to coach the whole player because we cannot rely on athletic ability alone.  We are successful because my players know their strengths and challenges and how to make both work for them.
