Jen Wright

Coaching Experience: I’ve been coaching for about 16 years between high school and club, currently I am the head varsity coach at Traverse City Central. I have two very active kiddos of my own Emma is 12 and Tyler is 11 who you will see from time to time. I have been married since 2013 to my husband Steve who is also a coach with Northshore so I’m sure he will poke his head in to our practices every once in a while too. 

Coaching Philosophy: My coaching philosophy is to bring out the best effort a kid can give. I believe that if a kid is giving their best effort it radiates a feeling of pride to everyone around them and to themselves, it instills a standard that little by little everyone will grab on to because they don’t want to let their team down. So as you’re driving your kids to practice and they are going through all the nerves, just let them know that all they can control is their effort and their attitude. If they do that then good things are going to happen.
